It's splittet in english, french, german, spanish and italian districts, so especially italian and spanish districts are almost empty. The ANet supports suggest to switch to english districts, which isn't helpful at all. Many players like me usually switch to the english districts to find groups at all and my opinion is that you find better groups in that district. But more than once I really thought of a switch to an american server to get rid of those limitations. Many already did.

I don't know who had the idea at ANet and why, but instead of the usually community driven development and this was a change which "killed" the whole european game experience without need. There were better solutions suggested but ignored.
Yeah, apearently swedish isn't a language. Who would of thought.

Yes, thats a point, too. Some language districts exists, some languages are ignored and pushed into the english district. To really straight forward. Language channels would be helpful and I don't have a clue why this simple and requested method was ignored.

Well there are only 9 million Swedes, and not all of them speak Swedish. A small and insignificant language. Also Swedes are generally better at English than many other nationalities. This much due to how much English you're exposed to in Sweden, we have only subtitles and not voice-overs, many of the commercials are in English only, music in English, etc.

That's true, but you can't add a language district for some people, and not other people. No matter how small. It's disrespectful and ignoring your fans, Something that isn't right no matter how small. Sure, it makes the districts a lot thinner in the europe servers but like zersenser said, there's different ways to go about it.

Europe will never be as organised as the Americans and the Koreans. This has been discussed at length before, it just won't happen. Too many different nationalities, languages ect. WaW system is fatally flawed and became worse when they split up the European servers. Don't see why a PvP thing should affect PVE areas anyway...

I don't think it the issue of not trying to hard but too many isolated regions grouped in to one.

Korea - One country / Culture
USA - One country / Culture
Europe - Many Country’s & Cultures

When they anet step this system up I suppose they assumed there would be several good competitive guild from each country and as long as one of them made it, it would represent all of Europe to stay with the single country servers.

Nash has a point but it wasn't tactful but a very valid option. There are a lot of Europe players on the USA server (in our guild for that fact). I also have been reading about how little advertising / sales push in Europe for guild wars.

If Europe is not getting the favor at all or way out of proportion then they need to find an alt system or break the all the countries in to there own server but since the way HoH is set up and the physically servers themselves, they may have some trouble with this.

They had problems with everyone in general districts on Europe and language issues and that's why they grouped them the way they did to resolve those.

If the expansion is going to give us new area's like Fow/Uw, when the expansion come's out, maybe give Fow/Uw to everyone and leave the new zones under the current system?

Even before the language divides in Europe I dont recall Europe getting that much anyway, PvP and PvE should not be forcibly linked, if a PvE player wants to do the ultimate PvE they are FORCED to do PvP, mabey not in America and Korea where the PvP players do the job for them, but in Europe, once you've completed the game you have to PvP to do anymore PvE. (Or just wait for a blue moon.)

Everyone knows that the good EU players still hang around in international looking for PUGs...

But yeah, it's depressing that with more people leaving the Eu server for america, it becomes less and less that we get our chance to have favour.

I took a trip to the US server yesterday to have a look at trader prices and during my breif stay, i actually turned my local filters on, because the amount of crap going on the chat was disgusting. I'll never move to america, because it just wouldn't be right. I'm quite proud to be european and leaving so that i can be lazy and let people take favour for me would be something i just can't do. Europe Unite and take favour once more!

Something else i noticed is that I see the big euro guilds not being active as much anymore, Rus Corp, Valandor, I haven't seen those for a while. Esoteric Warriors are hopefuls and there's a few others, like TWG that just haven't been able to ge through recently

Wow, your own stubborn patriotism will prevent you from getting access. Have fun playing the missions over and over, then.

Personally I could care less if people in a server group labelled "Europe" or "America" has access to the favor content, as long as I do too. Then again, I don't let illogical and arbitrary restrictions stand in the way of my goals.

Unless they need to grind XP for skill points.

Right, Nash?

Actually you can get skill points a lot faster outside of TOA, That's a common misconception.

Solo XP farming really depends on your character setup, though, and you need scrolls for it. Anyone can be on a team in UW, and it's a lot cheaper.
